Designing for Financial Empowerment é um projeto feito em uma parceria entre Parsons Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability (DESIS) Lab, NYC Department of Consumer Affairs Office of Financial Empowerment (OFE), NYC Center for Economic Opportunity, The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, e Food Bank for New York City, com o apoio do Citi Community Development. Ele tem como objetivo redesenhar o processo de declaração do imposto de renda para a população de baixa renda de Nova Iorque.
Criamos um símbolo que evoca o crescimento pessoal (escada) e financeiro (gráfico de barras), e uma identidade simples e memorável.
O projeto foi feito em colaboração com a designer Amy Findeiss.
Designing for Financial Empowerment is a partnership between Parsons Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability (DESIS) Lab, NYC Department of Consumer Affairs Office of Financial Empowerment (OFE), NYC Center for Economic Opportunity, The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, and Food Bank for New York City with the generous support of Citi Community Development. It is a project that aims to redesign the tax time services for the low income population os NYC.
We created a symbol that evokes personal and financial growth (stair + bar chart), and a visual identity that is simple, yet memorable.
The project was done in collaboration with designer Amy Findeiss.
